Syrah comes from the northern part of the Rhône Valley. It originates from the cross of a vine from Savoy “Mondeuse Blanche” and an old vine from north of Ardeche “Dureza” which took place quite a long time ago. The Syrah we know has been transformed century after century by the patient work of vine growers.
