These 80-years-old vines on a granite slope, are somes of the oldest vines of the appelation.
The fruit is fermented in 228l and 400l French oak barrels, 30% new.
The result is a very full-bodied wine that's a bit of a mouthful. There's remarkable power and freshness to the underlying fruit, with a soaring mineral dimension.
A fascinating blend of freshness, minerality, oak and richness, this is highty impressive but is not an easy-drinking option.
